ABOUT
US

The Robojet brand of water jetting machines was launched in the early 1970s by Dennis Roberts. From a small family business at home to a thriving jetter hire and manufacturing Company based in Reading, Berkshire, Dennis Roberts Limited soon became a well know and respected part of the industry.

Aged 23, and having completed his apprenticeship, Nick Roberts joined his father and mother Jean in the business and soon established a reputation for innovation and for building high quality water jetting machines. Nick’s technical ability and insistence on the highest standards meant Robojet’s reputation for excellence was well established. That reputation continues today.
Dennis and Jean retired in their early seventies and Robojet Limited was founded in 2002, by Nick Roberts and John Worsfold. John had worked for many years as a salesman for Dennis Roberts Ltd and together the Company carried on the early spirit of inventiveness and quality started by Dennis. The Robojet brand of water jetters went from strength to strength.

Tim Sharples joined as an engineer and his long partnership with Nick began. From a young boy, and having learned much from his father David, Tim was fascinated by cars. Tim joined with a wealth of knowledge of engines and auto electrics, not least from his time in the racing car industry where he undertook a wide range of work including high performance car restoration, for which he has been recognised in the motoring press, and in building racing cars. Both Nick & Tim had a love of all things mechanical and together they designed, built & maintained an impressive range of cutting edge jetters, bringing together the best of British workmanship, modern design and the highest quality components.

Both still keep in touch with the business and Robojet stays true to those early family principles passed down from Dennis & Jean.
